The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and will close on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the subsequent requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a home using a combined gross residence earnings that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined residence cash flow would not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and want not post any proof of income.
